Each park has a playground, pet waste station, trash can and one or more benches and picnic tables.
An additional pet waste station is along the main road between Woodspring and McCarthy.
One new pet waste station is being considered for Heathrow & Daimler.

Walking Paths

Several areas of the neighborhood have walking paths that pass through the common areas.  These are great for walking your dog.  We are making changes to the sprinkler schedule in 2026 to ensure that the walking paths are not hit by sprinklers between the hours of 7am and 10pm.  Please be patient during the transition to this new schedule and always feel free to report an issue.

Trees

We have over 700 trees managed by the Landscape Committee.  Each tree is assigned a number and is tracked in a database by the committee and our vendors to optimize inspection, trimming, removal and replacement.  Statistics are available, and the trees are visible on the Trees layer of Bristol Heights GIS.  There are several factors involved in managing the trees, such as:

  • Overplanting by the developer for early canopy, but now many trees are competing with both common area and homeowner trees.
  • Size, health and danger.
  • Lifting sidewalks.
  • Appropriateness of species for the region and our turf irrigation practices.
  • Alternating removals and replacements so there is always good canopy.
  • Root penetration of underground infrastructure.
If you would like to know more, please attend the next Landscape Committee meeting on the calendar.
